Age is Just a number…
Yes, age is just a useless scale to measure anybody’s caliber; it has nothing to do with transformation. There are several examples ranging from celebrities to common man, who transfigure themselves at that point of age, which seems impossible for us.
Whether it is 70 years old Sylvester Stallone, who uses to alter his body from time to time or 50 year old Amir Khan (a popular Bollywood actor) who has incredibly molded his body for a movie- Dangal. Though these celebrities are more or less fit at every stage of their life and therefore, alteration becomes easy for them.
But there are people in our society, who have literally switched themselves from a gigantic frame to a fit body. One such example is Peter Crawford, who in his forties, sacrificed all his temptations and came up with an amazing physique. So let’s check out the changeover journey of Peter:
The backdrop of Peter was really pathetic as half of his life was ruined by some serious unhealthy lifestyle. His meals were no less than the entire menu card with loads of beers. He was habitual of eating chicken nuggets, quarter pounder cheese burgers, fries, and of course diet coke in beverages.
On the name of the exercise, he absolutely did nothing and often complained about his joint pains. He really struggled to overcome his temptations of drinks and unhealthy food. And a strong motivation was desperately needed by him for a changeover.
At the age of 41, he was near about 400 pounds and numbers were increasing thanks to his drinking and corrupt food habits. The matter got worse up to the point that, he was not able to walk properly.
Then, three years ago, he attended a friend’s funeral and that spun his mind drastically. Next morning, he realized that he can no longer afford to live up with this toxic life and fully prepared himself for a makeover.
The journey was really tough for Peter, as he had literally destroyed his body by unhealthy stuff. It was not possible for him to go for a sudden makeover, and therefore, he started with little changes which really work for him.
The first thing, he abstained himself from was drinking as it uses to trigger his urge to consume junk foods. He confessed that sticking with strict diet was the hardest thing to go with. Later, when he noticed that his weight has become stagnant at 224 pounds, he switched to a strict meal plan.
At first, he just started with a walk as he was not able to move a lot. Gradually, when his weight started coming off, he moves up with exercises like cycling and swimming which really helped him to shed his first 112 pounds. This was enough inspirational for him to move up in the gym.
Being, a person in early forties, essentially make his meal plan and workout regime interesting to go through:
For transformation enthusiasts, it really worthy to note that diet is crucial as Peter himself stick to a strict meal plan. However, his transformation process does not say to go with 100% stringent food plan; you can enjoy occasional treats as well, but on the condition of full workout- the following day. He emphasizes on eating more fruits and vegetables in particular.
Here’s the typical meal plan of Peter:
|Meal 1||● EGGS: 3
● EGG WHITES: 2
● OATMEAL: 50 G
● MILK: 1 CUP
● BANANA: 1 MEDIUM
|Meal 2||● STRING CHEESE: 1 STICK
● PROTEIN SHAKE: 1 SERVING
|Meal 3||● TUNA: 300 G
● GREEN SALAD: 1-2 CUPS
|Meal 4||● APPLE: 1 MEDIUM
● PROTEIN SHAKE: 1 SERVING
|Meal 5||● STEAK: 6-10 OZ.
● BROWN RICE: 1 CUP
● BROCCOLI: 1 CUP
|Meal 6||● PROTEIN CASEIN SHAKE: 1 SERVING|
The workout part is really insightful, as we can see that little thing like walking, cycling, and swimming can really do wonders. According to Peter: a great motivation and perfect mindset are necessary for a transformation, as people leave gymnasium, more quickly than they join.

Initially, his body fat count was 40% and post-transformation, this poll goes down to 15%. He is now going for a better body and also preparing for various bodybuilding competitions. He has a different lifestyle altogether now and this change is for a lifetime.
